All gamesDraw lines, grow dots, trap your opponent

Sprouts

Start with three dots. Take turns joining dots with a line and adding a new dot on it. Lines can't cross and a dot can only have three lines. The first player who can't move loses. Simple rules, sneaky game.

This one is all yours

Nothing sharp, nothing hot, nowhere far. Tell someone what you're up to, then go ahead and do it on your own.

Why it works

Every move uses up two line-ends and adds one new dot with one free end, so the game always ends. With three starting dots, the game has to end within eight moves, which is why it feels short but still leaves room to trap someone.
