Pig

Roll a die as many times as you dare, adding up your points. Roll a 1 and you lose everything from that turn. First to 100 wins. It is entirely about knowing when to quit.

Why it works

Every roll has a 1-in-6 chance of being a 1. That never changes, no matter how lucky you've been. Most people stop around 20 points a turn, and the maths says that's close to right, but the maths also says the person who feels brave usually loses.
