What a grown-up does
Pouring the slime activator. It can sting skin, so an adult adds it a splash at a time.
Why that works
Glue is long chains of molecules sliding past each other. The activator ties the chains together at random points, and suddenly they can stretch but not pour. The shaving foam traps air between the chains, which is what makes it fluffy instead of gooey.
